I suffer from quite a few medical problems at the moment my pain is top of my list. Shame i couldnt say the same about doctors care. I requested some painkillers over internet last thursday today is 6 days later wednesday and am still waiting more medication. When prescribe morphine your supposed to continuiously take medication without running out or weened off slowly. Yet doctors now have let me wait 6 days so far comppletely without any meds whatssoever despite constant calls and fobbed off by receptionist. The surgery has totally gone to pot. Ive been a patient with this surgery for over 25 yrs Im not impressed with new people at all. Will be changing doctors asap!

I have only ben a customer at this surgury for a short time (other doctor retired and surgery closed), however most of the time the doctor(s) will listen to you, and try to find a way to help, however not all doctors are as good as they could be at listening to your problems. The Nursing side ,I have found, has always done an excellent service and should be promoted more for minor problems- sometimes all you need is to talk and get advice and the nurse can then refer you to the doctor if necessary, giveng him/her their findings thus saving the doctor time and helping all patients to be seen on time.

I have found out that with regards to appointments, it's always a challenge to get an immediate one. Having said that however, the phone appointment system has been extremely helpful because then you can have an immediate discussion with the Doctor & s/he can determine whether you need to come in physically or otherwise sort the problem out immediately. The Receptionists are very helpful and courteous. Haven't had any regrets and I'm a local resident so it's so convenient

Unfortunately the doctor was not available for emergency appointment and was only available for appointment by phone after his surgery times. I do not really think this is good enough. I phoned at two o clock as doctor had not rang and was put through. The doctor listened to my problem and did prescribe medicine etc and advised me to call on the Monday if problem persisted. I think the issue is getting an appointment nowadays, it's usually three weeks which is not really acceptable although I must say I have managed to see doctor sooner if absolutely necessary.

I have been with doctor few years now sometimes I feel like I'm not lisean to I also feel under pressure sometimes also I worry about getting my meds I have cupboard full of medication un used as I get them like sweets expect for my benzo script which is being monitored but I have been on that 13 years I'm struggling to come of it as it's helped me last 13 years to go out and cope as I suffer badly with ag and anxeity I also have small child I have phone contact with doctor who as late I can't fault he has had a lot of patience and understanding with me not pressuring me as he was last year and refused to take blood pressure etc as even though I have ag and anxeity I'm still allowed to get I'll I should be treated like a normal human being the reception staff are some what of most times and it's very hard to get appointment I have telephone appointment last few months but doctor has been very helpful towards me as late
